Have a Feng Shui Home in Harrisburg
Do you long to have the prefect feng shui balanced home? You can! There are basic feng shui tips you can use to make sure you can have a feng shui home in Harrisburg.
Start outside. Your chi flow doesn’t begin with your front door. It flows in from the outside, so start there. If you live in a cul-de-sac, near a railroad, or have a sloped yard, your outside will need extra work to help it be more harmonious. It is not impossible, but it will need extra attention.
Next, make sure the chi can easily flow into your front door. Make sure there are no bins or piles of shoes in the way. You can also make changes to the door itself with new colors or hardware.
How is your entry way? Once you step through the door, the entry area should be warm and inviting. Where does the energy go after it enters the house? Does it flow right down a staircase or right back outside because it faces a large mirror? You want the chi to freely flow from the front door to the rest of the house, not immediate escape or go back outside.
Good feng shui is threefold: kitchen, bathroom, and bedroom. If you have great feng shui in your bedroom and kitchen, but you neglect the bathroom, it can negatively impact the feng shui in the rest of the house. So don’t neglect these rooms and only focus on one or two.
These are just some feng shui basics to help get you started on a balanced feng shui home in Harrisburg.
Hi. My daughter & I live in a 2 bedroom depth oh housing unit & are gradually being pushed out by all of the “stuff” we have. I try to get on top of it but just never seem to get there. How do I start?
Thanks for your question. To help with the overwhelm just do a little bit at a time. Start with a drawer then stop. Next time do another drawer then stop. If you start in small chunks it will build up your momentum. If you try to tackle a whole room at once it will be too overwhelming and you will give up. Also do you have a friend or family member who can help? An extra pair of hands makes all the difference. Plus the added encouragement is a great booster.
